Bakery & book store among RT businesses targeted by burglars

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Three businesses were broken into between Friday night, March 12, 2021, and early Saturday morning, March 13, 2021, but the burglars came up empty-handed, according to reports reaching our newsroom.

Among the businesses targeted was BangGood food bus on deCastro Street.

According to reports, the cash pan was found a short distance from the food bus. No money had been left in the cash pan by the business proprietor.

Burglars also visited Josh Bakery but allegedly only made off with two fake $100 bills.

Serendipity Book Store, located next door to Josh Bakery, was also broken into but nothing was reported missing at the time of initial investigations, our newsroom was informed.

    These low life’s need to be caught and jailed. I am glad the proprietors have gotten smart not leaving cash inside. Lazy no good for nothings don’t want to work for a living. Install cameras, they are cheap enough. Let’s catch these bums.
