Baby mama drama prompts visit to court
The court heard that on March 26, 2012, in Huntums Ghut, Ms. Peters was allegedly at the home of the father of her offspring and his girlfriend, waiting for them to come home.
In the facts that were presented by Crown Counsel Sara Benjamin, it was stated that when the Virtual Complainant (VC) and her boyfriend got home, they saw the defendant’s vehicle. Allegedly, the defendant left her vehicle and approached the vehicle which the VC was in and began making gestures of which the VC couldn’t understand.
Allegedly the VC rolled down her window, while at the same time the defendant opened the car door and told the VC “why the f*** you don’t come out,” and continue cursing the VC, while leaning in her face.
It is alleged that the defendant then leaned over and pulled the keys from the ignition of the car the VC was in, while the VC walked away and called the Road Town Police Station.
The Court understood that while the VC was on the phone with officers, the defendant began to curse again screaming “why the f*** you calling my name, I didn’t touch you, why the f*** you calling my name.”
The VC indicated to the officers that the defendant was 3-5 inches away from her face.
The matter was adjourned until November 6, 2012.
