PASEA ESTATE, Tortola, VI- The long-awaited new medical facility B & F Medical Centre located in the Road Town area is here. B & F Medical Complex owned and operated by businessman, social activist, commentator, musician and former politician Alred C. Frett aka ‘AC’ is set to open a new medical facility located on the dual carriageway going east in Pease Estate on the main island of Tortola.

While an official opening ceremony is planned for December 1, 2024, the facility is in operation. The three-story building, with an elevator and adequate parking and adds to the skyline of the city, offers a variety of services to the public.

All the medical services needed

Currently, the new B & F Medical facility offers an eye doctor, dentist, hygienist, general practitioner, and gynaecologist among other specialists.

They also offer mammograms, colonoscopy, vaccination, digital X-ray and pharmacy services, along with having a doctor always on hand at the facility, according to someone familiar with the operations.

"I welcome such developments, as I believe in collaboration and strategic partnerships. Working together, we can achieve a lot," Minister for Health and Social Development Hon Vincent O. Wheatley (R9) told our News Centre.

B & F Medical Centre has been providing medical services in the Virgin Islands (VI)  for years, with an outpost in East End. With the issue of healthcare costs and other challenges in the VI, this facility is a welcome addition to the options for residents and visitors alike.

Efforts to get a comment from Mr Frett were not successful.

Believe it or not, those are easier to clean and sanitize, especially if you will be dealing with sick people.

Congratulations! However, those chairs look like they will be so cold from the AC. The sick and the elderly can not sit in cold chairs.

My thoughts exactly before I saw the comments. Those chairs looks so cold and unwelcoming. Gosh! With all the more comfortable choices available, that are easy to sanitize, you guys decided on those hard cold metal chairs for a new modern facility. Come on. A complete turn away. Those things don't even belong in a jail.

Congratulations are in order to Hon. Alred Frett. I have been waiting a long time for this facility, and I will certainly support B&F. Hon Frett is one of my favorite persons in the Territory because he is guided by the Spirit of God and who God blessed no one can hamper. It is through the Blessings of God that this facility is complete. Despite all of the obstacles the facility is complete. may God continue to bless A.C.Frett.

congratulations Mr. Frett. You carried your cross and kept fighting when you had to and you kept pushing as best you can. BVI people are extremely negative species and they must say all in their power to try to pull others down, whether it is their own people or not. All they can see is the chairs. They're just unbelievable. If the pics had showed cushioned chairs they would have had another set of complaints. They have proven to be bitter people who clap when others fall and cry when they are successfull. The same people lamenting on the chairs might be the ones the same place might have to save their lives. Let them be great.

Best of blessings on the new facility and we look forward to receiving excellent medical service.

When people stay dumb it's no waking you all up. Why do you think this is good. What is making people so sick that this small island needs extra hospitals, funeral homes, private doctors. With all these good doctors why are they so many sick people. When you all don't think it's a wrap. The facts that you all think this is nice just proves how dumb down the people in this world is.
