At least one injured in head-on vehicle collision on VG

COPPER MINE, Virgin Gorda, VI- At least one person is said to have been injured in a vehicular accident in the Copper Mine area on Virgin Gorda this evening, December 18, 2015.

According to reports reaching our newsroom from sources on the sister island, two vehicles collided head-on. One of the persons reportedly involved in the accident is Mrs Stephanie I. Faulkner-Williams, Independent Candidate in the 2015 national election.

The two vehicles were said to be heading in opposite directions in the Copper Mine area when they collided. It is not clear the circumstances surrounding the mishap.

The driver of one of the vehicles is said to have suffered injuries and has been taken to the local clinic. Mrs Faulkner-Williams allegedly received no noticeable injuries.

Police reportedly quickly arrived on the scene to conduct their investigations.
