Asha A.S. Hyndman is Miss BVI 2026

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Moments ago, August 3, 2026, Asha A.S. Hyndman was crowned Miss British Virgin Islands 2026 at Multi-Purpose Sports Complex.

The new queen won the lion's share of the individual awards before being crowned.

Hyndman wins an educational scholarship as the top prize. The four-year scholarship is valued at $80,000.

Additionally, Miss BVI 2026 will receive a brand-new 2027 Haval Jolion, courtesy of the Office of the Premier and Alphonso Enterprise Ltd, along with a custom-designed crown and sceptre from House of Luxury.

The new queen is expected to be part of the August Monday Parade later today.

The First Runner Up is Ms Angelique B. Lettsome while Kala J. Penn was adjudged Second Runner Up.

    So a young lady has to parade herself around a stage like a prized pony to get a car and some money to go to college. Yay us! These pageants are a useless contribution to the development of the community. Once these people win we dont see or hear from them again.

      Many titles winners of the Miss BVI Pageant have gone on to do and continue to do great things in our communities. Look at some of the names on this list and others: Hon. Luce Hodge Smith, Irene Penn O'Neal, Medita Wheatley, Andria Norman Flax, Linnel Abbot, Barbara Stevens deFreites, Nelda Farrington, Anne Lennard, Alecia Burke Green, Rhonda Hodge Smith, Linette Smith Baa, Dr. Shakima Stoutt Ottley, Bethsaida Smith Hanley, Hon. Sharie de Castro Leilani Stevens, Bria Smith , Dr. Sandy Harrigan Underhill and the list goes on... These names were obtained from the Miss 2026 BVI Magazine shared on Sunday evening.

      @ Sighhh!! Obviously yiube never been to a show or see the hard work, sacrifice and dedication these young ladies put in. Then again i sure you is one that locked into Miss Univserse with your popcorn and wine everytime it happens. HATING AINT CUTE ON YOU
