Arundel Panty Dropper cops Best Tasting Rum title in Grenada

ST GEORGE'S, Grenada- Panty Dropper, also known as Arundel Panty Dropper, a product of the family-run Callwood Rum Distillery in Cane Garden Bay, has captured the Best Tasting Rum title at the 35th Annual CWWA Conference and Exhibition in Grenada.

According to CWWA, Panty Dropper beat several other entries to claim the top spot, “bringing a taste of the British Virgin Islands to our celebration of Caribbean flavours”.

Minister for Health and Social Development Honourable Vincent O. Wheatley (R9) and Seven Seas Water Corporation Managing Director Noni M. Georges received the award on behalf of Callwood Cane Rum.

‘Proud moment’

The recognition has also received applause from Premier Dr the Hon Natalio D. Wheatley (R7). 

"From our local shores to the wider Caribbean, achievements like these remind us of the value of supporting homegrown businesses and celebrating the people who continue to put our Territory on the map. Congratulations to Callwood Cane Rum on this well-earned recognition! May this be one of many more successes to come," Premier Wheatley stated on social media.

Callwood Rum Distillery stated on its Facebook page: “We are beyond proud to celebrate our very own Arundel Panty Dropper Rum for winning Best Tasting Rum at the 35th Annual CWWA Conference and Exhibition in Grenada!
