MIAMI, Florida, USA- Attorneys representing detained British Virgin Islands Port Authority (BVIPA) Managing Director Oleanvine Pickering-Maynard have invoked her right against being questioned by US law enforcement.

"The defendant does hereby invoke her rights to remain silent and to counsel with respect to any and all questioning or interrogation, regardless of the subject matter, including, but not limited to: matters that may bear on or relate to arrest, searches and seizures, bail, pretrial release or detention, evidence at trial, guilt or innocence, forfeitures; or that may be relevant to sentencing, enhanced punishments, factors applicable under the US Sentencing Guidelines, restitution, immigration status or consequences resulting from arrest or conviction; appeals or other post-trial proceedings," Michael Caruso, Federal Public Defender, said in his filing in a Florida court on May 5, 2022.

"The Defendant requests that the United States Attorney ensure that this invocation of rights is honoured, by forwarding a copy of it to all law enforcement agents, government officials, or employees associated with the investigation of any matters relating to the defendant. Any contact with the Defendant must be made through the defendant's lawyer," Caruso further stated.

Pickering-Maynard remains in pre-trial detention as she faces drug trafficking and money laundering charges in Miami alongside her son Kadeem and former VI Premier Andrew A. Fahie.

She is due back in court today, May 6, 2022, for a detention hearing.

Perfect. None of us need to hear more from this person for at least 20 years.

Well, her pleading for the fifth is the best thing she can do right now until she has spoken with her lawyer. Even though they claim to have her on tape, she should still be silent. No, I don't agree with what she is accused of, but I do know her being silent will not incriminate her any further.

I agree she should do what her lawyers tells her. "no one talks, everyone walks" is the old saying.
What I am a little perplexed about is... How did Fahie get involved?... his actions are so amatuer it feels like it was his first time.
It is common knowledge that a containor load came through the port during a lockdown and was parked in an active police officers yard.. or was it his brothers yard? the one who got kicked out the police? I forget...
Maybe, not so common knowledge is that during a complete lockdown the Road Town and East End police stations were quarantined during a time no one was on the street on an Island with 50 cases or something...

Now... if he was in it from the start I just mentioned... wouldn't he have a crew by now?... a lot of heavy sh1t went down after that bust. If he was the mastermind behind it... why would he be on US soil talking about supplying guns to Mexican Cartels?

Something doesn't sit right with me about this.
If I was to make an educated bet based off my spider senses.. I would say he was the last one recuited in this thing and greed got the better of him.
If that is the case... then he has enough information to level this place... if he was actually apart of that whole lockdown shipment scenario and got arrested on US soil... the business must be a lot easier in these here parts and some retard- i forgot my 2x tables- stuff kicked in.

Something to watch out for: :) do they both stay with the same law firm. That is what co-defendants do in this situation.
If one of them changes briefs... it's about to go down :)

Totally surprised here, that Maynard hasn't been uttering the phrases, "State's Evidence" and "Let's make a deal!" to anyone that will listen!

BECAUSE SHE IS SCARED, BUT SHE CAN ALSO MAKE A DEAL WITH THE FEDS FOR HER AND HER SON TO BE RELOCATED IN THE WPP FOR EVIDENCE AGAINST ANDREW AND THE REST IN TORTOLA THAT WAS INVOLVED AND PROFIT. IE… The big houses on the hills, expensive vehicles and the list goes on.

Now she wants to be silent. Fahie should have called the police and have her and her son locked up when they came to him with stupidness. Sorry he wasn’t stronger the weakness get the best of him. Poor guy

How do you know that? That's the question they want her to answer. That's a very smart move Ms. Maynard. Say no more...

Sad but who is to say the real people from the cartel is not going to get rid of everyone that was involved or have knowledge in Tortola. Dead men and women tell no tales. Think about that. Everyone in Tortola that was involved with what Andrew was doing is in danger.

Sad but true. The man was dealing with some very dangerous people. When he was in power, he give the cartel and gun runners easy access to come and go with the help of ports lady. When planes was landing and taking off from Anegada undetected that was all part of it because Anegada leads straight Florida. Now you see why he refuse the high tech ship from the UK to do boarder patrol? Instead, he opt for a local barge to patrol the waters. Every last one is going down this time, it is only a matter of time. Who are you going to hide behind this time.

The DEA was pretending that they were the cartels and we do not know that AF was realy involved with the Cartels. If he was realy dealing with the Cartels they would not have had to ask the Ports Director to aproach him and get him involved they would have gone directly to him. It is an entrapment so that UK can justify their move. AF was played by the masters of the game.

Thank you. I wonder. It's ilegal to take soneone picture without permission. It's ilegal to harrass someone on phone calls, it's ilegal to tarnish ones image thru media. Isn't it ilegal to frame someone. Someone that they targeted from the beginning. Someone that did not approach you or that did not come to you willingly. Someone that ask you if you were a fed and you lied about your status. because you were trying to set them up? They came straight from UK , paid off the US to help th frame the Drew and he fell right in their trap.

When you try to stop smoke cigarette, and drink alcohol and some one came right in your face puffing.

She may be quiet to prosecutors when questioned about case officially but who know what she say off tape. They not going to print that. It’s normal for guilty to say nothing.

This business is not for Fahie. He have no knowledge of how this business work.. A man at his level with experience in the business, will always ask for time to think and figure things out when first approached, then have his investigators investigate the people that came to him,, .While he process what he is getting involved in....Always ask for time before you commit..Free lesson to all..

One thing is for sure, they won't have to worry about fasting and praying, they are going to come back here leaner than ever. They have no access to stores and restaurants. They will be much thinner.
