Armed business owners ‘will serve as another deterrent’ to crime – Bishop Cline
Bishop Cline’s call came almost ahead of similar calls by ‘Honestly Speaking’ moderator Claude O. Skelton-Cline, who called for laws to allow business owners to carry firearms be able to protect themselves.

“One of the things that I believe that needs to be considered, by the Governor and the Commissioner of Police is that they allow business people to have a licensed firearm," Mr Cline said on the Tuesday, April 20, 2021, edition of the My BVI radio show.
“How can you have young men, they don’t have any businesses, they don’t have anything, they tilt towards crime, they are armed, but responsible business people who work hard… and you can’t trust them to give them a licensed firearm?"
Bishop Cline’s call came following heightened crime awareness in the VirginIslands (VI) community following the shooting to death of a local businesswoman.
Ms Catherine Pickering, 67, the territory’s latest crime fatality, succumbed on April 19, 2021.
She was reportedly shot in the head during a robbery in Paraquita Bay on April 18, 2021.

On arming business people, Bishop Cline said “I believe that this will serve as another level of deterrent that a criminal will think twice before entering your place of business if they know that businessmen carry a licensed firearm,” he said.
Bishop Cline also called for business owners to become more vigilant and he touched on the need for CCTV cameras around business premises and public spaces to track activities around the island.

I grew up in the church as a young child, when my mind was still ignorant to how the world really is. I currently lack faith because of all that ive been through but let me say this any man or woman of God should not be working towards being a rich man...money is the root of all evil. A man who is poor has a easier passage to heaven than one who is rich.
So stop this foolishness that is spewing from your mouth. Secure your space in heaven and do not let situations like this cause you to send yourself to damnation. If you are a christian trust in God that even if you were to die, it was his plan and you need not have to worry about pain inflicted on the flesh because your spirit would be free.
I'm skeptical about anyone who holds a religious title because there are so many hypocrites out there. Being a pastor is now simply another job. If there is a Heaven, why are you afraid, is it because you don't believe what you preach?
