SEA COWS BAY, Tortola, VI – A business owner was reportedly robbed of cash on-premises and several bar patrons left traumatised when armed bandits pounced on the Playroom Bar in Sea Cows Bay, Tortola, shortly after midnight this morning December 5, 2020.

Eyewitnesses said two masked men, one carrying a gun, entered the bar minutes after midnight and headed straight for the cash register where they took about $1500 before carting off a Louis Vuitton handbag belonging to the supervisor on duty.

Sources further told VINO that the business was unable to get CCTV footage of the robbery since the cameras on the premises were not operational.

No one was reportedly hurt in the robbery as police investigations continue.

Virgin Islands News Online (VINO) will bring you more information as they become available.

Sad, and oftenly continuing accurrances in our country. We should support our RVIPF Team more that we now do. That will help. I do, as one among many of our law abiding citizens, hope that we will fight all crime, not only those that don't suit our purpose. Please read and consider the following passage of scripture.

The fear of the Lord is to hate (all ) evil, pride, and orrogancy, and the peaking of perverse languages and such like, that are anti-Godly. Proverbs 8:13. The able arms of God's Love remains open widely for all that are willing to accept same.
I which you nothing, but, rather, I for us desire God's blessings be dispersed to and among us. Godly Love to all. Amen.

What's the point of having up cameras & they not working. Too often you hear this scenario where a crime happen, the place have cameras but they ain working. How exactly that makes any form of sense. Some of these businesses too damn cheap & careless with their establishments.

These Belongers have been ignoring all rules for years and now its coming back to bite them. Why is P******* even allowed to operate, selling sex as it does? The righteous in this community need to stop praying for the deliverance of their countrymen, but actually do something practical. Enforce the laws, report their relatives and neighbors who break the law, march against evil in the community, spend money on education and infrastructure rather than fancy buildings and more bureaucracy. Enough is enough.

the thieves are thick all around. They are stealing food from people's farm, tires from people's vehicles, items from construction sites. Survival is key these days. It is sickening what is happening. Only some things are being publicized, but whatever you have around your house needs to be chained, even the animals and fowls.

Hmm.. Them bandits will use these masks now more than ever to get away with crimes. THE GOVERNMENT PUSHING, WEAR YOUR MASK, WEAR YOUR MASK, hiding one's identity, but some business places want to refuse you service for wearing a shield, talking nonsense but, "The thing" can get up under the shield. I have never heard more crap! Well, we will see more robberies with masked bandits. With the shield, you can clearly see who the person is. Make up you all mind what you will do, because crime will be on the increase from here on.
