ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The Virgin Islands Recovery and Development Agency (RDA) has announced the appointment of April T. Glasgow as the Community Liaison Officer (CLO) for a period of one year.

As CLO, Ms Glasgow’s duties include engaging with various stakeholders and facilitating their participation in projects from concept to delivery while taking into account social and gender considerations, a press release from the RDA on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, stated.

'Strong background in community engagement'

It said, with a strong background in community engagement across various subject areas, Ms Glasgow has developed several campaigns and has partnered with stakeholders in different sectors across the territory.

"Ms Glasgow had the opportunity to spearhead a number of Governmental campaigns namely Walk-Relay and the launch of the Disease Management and Wellness Programme for the National Health Insurance and curated the Government of the Virgin Islands on the Road Campaign and events," the press release shared.

Ms Glasgow holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication from the University of the Virgin Islands.

The RDA said it was pleased to welcome Ms Glasgow to the team as the agency works in close collaboration with the Government of the Virgin Islands to execute recovery projects.
