VALLEY, Virgin Gorda, VI - Walking away with bragging rights and a cash prize for winning the annual Ralph T O'Neal Hat Show in the Virgin Islands (VI), was Ms Anne A. Lennard of Virgin Gorda.

Ms Lennard took the cash prize of $1000 in the competition that saw several others vying for the rights to be the 2024 hat show winner held yesterday, March 30, 2024, at the Walters Recreational Park.

Ahead of the winner announcement, participants in the Easter Hat Show formed a Parade which started 4:00 pm from Dixie’s Corner to Walters Recreational Park and then to the Annual Easter Egg Hunt.

The event was part of the 2024 Easter Weekend in the Virgin Islands as Virgin Gorda celebrates its 57th Easter Festival.

Present for the Parade was also District Representative and Minister for Health and Social Development, Hon Vincent O. Wheatley.

      hasnt the horse racing track /show been closed for a few year now? Go down there dress up in a hat by yourself and see if maybe somebodygive you something.
