Yes Mimi is our Miss BVI.

This Committee made a dumb move by switching judges every segment with there being NO CONSISTENCY!!!!!

The individual who was crowned did not perform well at all and what kind of intellect says in the Promo segment that the BVI has some worthless people and in the same sentence says she’s going to see worthless artists in the village crawling off the stage with swimsuit up her butt and boob falling out. That is NOT our culture!!

This is the SAME REASON they can’t get any contestants for these pageants and when they finally muster up a few this is the FOOLISHNESS that occurs!!

The show is a waste of time anyway since only mediocre pageants in the Caribbean Miss BVI attends and do nothing in the BVI year-round.

The show started with the introduction; then no entertainment for a while after - crickets.

There was absolutely no video showing the pre events the contestants partook in.

The stage was blah with no decoration.

Pay Per View wasn’t working for most people if any at all.

Don’t encourage anyone to partake in this mess.

Maybe you feel that way because YOUR favourite win. Your little favourite didn’t perform HALF as well as Anika. She owned that stage with poise and intellect and she deserved that crown more than anyone else.
You’re just finding bad things to say because your precious little princess Mimi didn’t win. Boohoo. Get over it.

Congratulations Anika, I knew you had it in you to win. Anika was one of the main organizers for the 9th District Great Debate. You showed up and put out. Again congratulations.

Congrats to all the ladies for a job well done. I've heard this saying in relation to all pageants CONSISTENCY win crowns. I always knew it was between these two contestants. When I saw their interviews I was a bit disappointed in Ms Warner. Ms Christopher was by far the best speaker. She spoke intellectually with proper grammar and confidence. Ms Warner had a bit of dialect creeping in and that concerned me. As an ambassador one must possess both beauty and brains if you are going on the world's stage. To all the contestants thank you for putting yourself out there. It cannot be an easy road. Job well done by all especially the folks who work with them to get them ready.

Lets be fair. Mimi's introduction was riddled with poor grammar. and yes, she brought in her dialect intermittently. I can only imagine how her initial interview was.

Her talent left a lot to be desired. Yes, she performed well, but did it fit into the Sell BVI theme. It didn't do it for me, therefore she lost points again.

Mimi did well in the areas she won, because along with good choices of clothes, her body is physically fit, although her breasts are on the small side.

Now the winner, is she physically fit, no, but she is well spoken and earned the most points for initial interview and question and answer.

Yes, we want a beauty queen, but most importantly someone who will be well spoken and articulate who will represent our strengths.

So why does being physically fit have anything to do with beauty? The winner is quite beautiful in my opinion. What is wrong with you people?

Did not see the show but I'm not surprised. Proud of Ms Christopher. She is ambitious, graceful, intellectual, and would represent the BVI well. Although she is a VG transplant she is actually from Long Look Tortola and an alumni of Francis Lettsome Primary school. Go Anika we are proud of you!

Jimbob Jamie Tuitt sang about SIZE in the Soca Competition. I guess he was giving us a real hint that size doesnt matter, because size without brains is worthless.
