ESTATE BOVONI, St Thomas, USVI- The feature race of the Spring Stakes race card at Clinton E. Phipps Sr Racetrack was thrillingly won by Fighting Back of Anegada moments ago, March 8, 2026.

Ridden by Sebastian Ortiz, Fighting Back lived up to its name by coming from behind to take the win ahead of Friar Laurence.

The race was run over a distance of 1 mile and 40 yards for a purse of $16,000.

The winning time was 1:41.4.

Tortola horse Giant Valley holds the track record of 1:41.2, set in 2015.

      Either a track or a large commercial airport. Instead of flying into Puerto Rico and then hopping a smaller craft to the bvi fly into anegada and hop the same smaller craft into beef island. Plus a race track.

    That should have been happening 6 yrs ago.. The will and the courage been missing, Flights, Ferry Boats, get fans and supporters over..Badge transport Horses back and forth. This should have been an easy thing. Thank God for those old long time leaders that built these places, these young ones, ain't the same..
