How is it that the boat was leaving the dock when the boat collided with the dock. So why did the boat hit with such force into the same dock it was leaving throwing both men to the front of the boat. And the boat have extensive damage.

You all need to have a serious talk with the boat captain as to what really happen. A few things is just off. Boat leaving dock, boat crashes into dock, captain and passenger toss to the front of boat causing injuries to both men, boat have extensive damage. Someone was saying some kind of mysterious force came out of the water and cause the boat to crash in the dock because they cannot understand how a boat pulling out from a dock slam into the same dock you were pulling out of and caused so much damage.

It left another dock and was supposed to go Vg but hit ferry dock... two different docks. Ferry dock is solid concrete.

17 ft. speedboat leaving from Anegada at 6:30pm bound for Virgin Gorda is NOT a good float plan. Seems that the captain and the deceased passenger were inexperienced, vessel was not seaworthy or both.

These unsupervised almost ports of entry need changing with security during operations.

If Ship's Registry and Customs spent as much time inspecting local boats as they do the charter boats perhaps some of these accidents wouldn't happen. They need to be at Poker Run inspecting the boats for proper safety equipment, which is required for all locally registered boats; oh yea, most not registered!

Probably on that day the tide was high and the wind was strong and tbh in Anegeda, the water is rough. Even for them big ferry boats it takes a while for them to dock up bc of the weather. Probably the captain wasn’t too experience. You guys can trust me, I’ve been in this situation multiple times. My condolences for our family, RIP Kimba
