ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Robbery accused, Tim Dailey, 21, was granted bail when he appeared before the High Court yesterday, April 7, 2014 but has so far failed to post the cash component required for his freedom.

Dailey, who is accused of robbing Brewley’s Superette on September 10, 2013 secured bail in the sum of $250,000 through his attorney Patrick Thompson.

However, as part of the bail requirements, $100,000 of the amount is to be posted in cash while the remainder is signed surety.

Dailey of Thomas Lands East End is reportedly a Belonger and was first charged with the robbery when he appeared before the Magistrate’s Court on September 16, 2013. He was subsequently remanded to prison after being denied bail.

Dailey allegedly robbed the Superette in the presence of two female employees during which a gun was discharged, damaging a cooler in the establishment.

He allegedly fled the scene with $600 which he had taken from the cash register after the employees fled to the back of the store in fear.

Police later arrived and allegedly lifted the defendant’s prints from the scene before arresting him for the offence several days later.

I would hope there is enough honesty in me as a parent that I am what my children follow after. Who have made the first impression on children's life but their parents. Before we look out let's look in and after it is satisfying that the parents are not to be blamed lay it right where it belongs, the one who has done the crime. Everyone is always looking for someone else to blame.
