All welcome to reception & cultural presentation for Ladysmith Black Mambazo

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - The VI community is invited to join Dr. Karl Dawson and the faculty, staff and students of the H Lavity Stout Community College at a public welcome reception & cultural presentation for the legendary grammy award winning group Ladysmith Black Mambazo.

The event will take place in the atrium at the HLSCC from 3:00pm – 4:00pm on Tuesday, February 23, 2016.

Coordinated by the Department of Culture, performers of the cultural presentation include The Razor Bladez Fungi Band, The BVI Heritage Dancers, and The BVI Elite Sky Dancers. Remarks will also be shared by Dr. Karl Dawson, President, HLSCC; Hon. Myron V. Walwyn, Minister for Education, Culture and Sports; and Mr. Sjoerd Koster, General Manager, VP Bank and President of the BVI Bank Association.

The South African, all male a cappella group will be performing in the Eileen Parsons Auditorium on Tuesday, February 23 and Wednesday, February 24 as a special accreditation concert, presented by the BVI Bank Association.
