PASEA ESTATE, Tortola, VI – The British Virgin Islands Financial Services Commission (BVIFSC) is alerting the public that Adam Goldberg has never been licensed or regulated as a person or entity by the FSC to carry on any type of financial services business.

THE BVIFSC in a press release on January 19, 2024, says it considers it necessary to issue a public statement in order to protect the customers, creditors or persons who may have been solicited to conduct business by Adam Goldberg and to make the general public aware that the person or entity has never been licensed or regulated by the Commission to carry on any type of financial services business.

According to the BVIFSC, Adam Goldberg is circulating a forged investment business licence and is falsely purporting to be licensed by the FSC for Dealing in Investments and Arranging Deals in Investments.

"The FSC hereby informs the public that Adam Goldberg is not a BVI company and has never been licensed or regulated by the FSC to carry on investment business, or any financial services business, in or from within the Territory of the BVI."

The BVIFSC said members of the public are advised to exercise extreme caution if solicited at any time to conduct business with Adam Goldberg.

The public is also invited to provide the FSC with any relevant information on any questionable entities that are purportedly operating in or from within the Territory, and on any improper activities engaged in by such entities.

The BVIFSC said it has issued this Public Statement pursuant to Section 37A of the Financial Services Commission Act, 2001.

He needs to be locked up for real. You all can’t allow him to get away with this. Adam Goldberg, you better not bring and try to run that scam in my direction. Correct me if you may but, isn’t Goldberg a Jewish last name?

It is highly unlikely that Adam Goldberg is a real person, and if he were a real person it is even more unlikely that he would be doing this on island. Reality aside, what does Goldberg being a Jewish name have anything to do with anything or are you just being anti-Semitic?

Excuse me! Why in the world is he allowed to be here then? If he is committing fraud which is a crime, why has he not been deported or jailed? BVI government, this is in your hands to protect the people. What kind of nonsense are these people coming here with to steal our money?

There is nothing in the article saying that he is located in or operating from the BVI

@lol thank you for educating them. A person does not have to be PHYSICALLY in the territory to be doing business in the territory.

It is indeed likely that the individual is not a real person. Adam Goldberg is a well known actor. He has a sitcom based on his childhood entitled “The Goldbergs” where Adam Goldberg is the main protagonist.
