NEW YORK, USA- [British] Virgin Islands' sprinter Adaejah T. Hodge came up against rival Shawnti Jackson of the USA in the High School Girls 200m Final at the USATF NYC Grand Prix on June 24, 2023.

This time it was Jackson who prevailed, as Hodge placed second in 22.85 seconds.

Jackson clocked 22.70, which was a Personal Best.

Elise Cooper, also from the USA, placed third in 23.21.

Hodge and Jackson previously took to the start line of the 200m finals at the New Balance Nationals Outdoor on June 18, 2023, when Hodge took the title and Jackson was disqualified for false starting.

      The reality is that it might happen again and that's okay. Each time she will stretch and grow, until she gets to the point where it no longer happens. We like to think of success as overnight because often that is all we see, but successful people work hard when there's no one watching. It's the result of that persistence that we see.

    Well done Adaejah. keep up the good work. I would like her to enquire if it is safe to use vitamin B12 to boost her stamina in the races without causing any controversy with performance enhancing drug. That will give her much energy to win her opponents.
