Active COVID-19 cases in VI slide to 68

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Active COVID-19 cases in the [British] Virgin Islands have dropped to 68, a reduction of 33 since the last update of June 2, 2022.

According to the Territory's Epidemiological Summary released on June 9, 2022, there are 54 active cases on Tortola and 14 on Virgin Gorda, for a total of 68 cases.

63 of the positive cases are Local Cases, which suggests the virus is active in the community.

The latest figures are the results of tests done on June 8, 2022, and reported the following day.

There is one COVID-19-related hospitalisation at this time.

    THAT NONE OF THE MINISTERS ,THAT ARE DOCTORS , ARE DISTANCING THEMSELVES FROM THE POSITION OF MINISTER OF HEALTH ???? ( THEY SEEMS TO BE SPECIALIZED IN PRESCRIBING MEDICATIONS ???? WITH A TON LOAD OF ,( SIDE EFFECTS ) AND THEY NOT TELLING THEIR PATIENTS ANYTHING , SO BECAREFUL ,AND DON'T BE AFRAID TO ASK QUESTIONS

    Open the Country. Make the easy decision, well, some may say tough. Whatever it is it's the best and right decision. That's the Problem we've been having Ministers not taking charge of their ministries...Listening to people who putting their own interest above country...Entry on a negative test or fully Vax, no quarantine, no Mask. Allow the mask policy to set by each business owner, if they need Mask for entry or not..

    I keep stressing, the Minister of Health should have a medical degree and knows medical terminology. You can’t put a cashier to work as a CPA AKA ACCOUNTANT.

    The thing has lost its strength. It is just a bad case of the flu. BTW where is Dr. 'Evil' Faucci? The virus down so he disappears. They can't continue the covid charade any longer, so now they are working on the Monkey Pox. Signs of the End Times.

      Remember that this number does not include those who did not report their positive test to the authorities and are treating themselves at home.

      Because that is peoples personal choice. You want to wear a mask, continue to do so, you don’t want to wear a mask, that is your choice. That is on you.

    If Anegada is 0 cases why the primary teacher for grade 1 staying home like 3 weeks and her pal they done left ln charge home now too but she up n down the island? Madness. That 0 must be a mistake or something else going on
