Active COVID-19 cases in VI drop to 63

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Active COVID-19 cases reported in the [British] Virgin Islands (VI) have made another drop, although slightly since the last update of February 15, 2022.

According to the Territory's Epidemiological Summary today, February 21, 2022, there are 63 active cases from testing done on February 20 and reported today.

There were 69 active cases at the last update of February 15, 2022.

The bulk of the active cases, 49, are on Tortola. 10 cases were reported on Virgin Gorda and 2 each on Jost van Dyke and Anegada.

Three persons are hospitalised with COVID-19, 3 less than the previous update.

    Time to done away with this testing and live with COVID-19 it's not going anywhere... just cold and flu

    It's 62 deaths with covid,it should be way more because 57 percent of the population here injected the virus in their body
