I was driving that Road one night coming from Belle Vue and mu heart was in my fingers , I was scared, Cars speeding, swagging from Pot holes, coming head on to me, Mopeds speeding over taking at a high risk move. I try to avoid that Road at all cost...Having said that, hope they were no serious injuries..

Not to mention the dangerously tailgating people do down this road.

IT is full time the Government fix the roads.
IT almost a year now they started digging up Sea Cows Bay and it still a mess.
They have money so what is the problem.
Waiting for the election to come? May be. Half a mile of road out Paraquita Bay is going now almost one year with no sign of finishing. and we just sit back and take all of this. This is crazy. That loan is going to disappear bit by bit and we end up with a huge loan repayment and no roads. On the other hand, I see them patching the piece of road they did at Prospect Reef three months ago. So it really does not make sense to spend the money to get a road for 3 months. Public works needs to employ a qualified civil engineer or Reach out to China Harbour Construction who have been building a number of roads across the Caribbean and ask them to second you one of their engineers.

It’s another blood sacrifice, as some would say. Like someone wrote on the last article: How can somebody get hurt on the same road they take every day? But hey, things do happen.

Yes there are injury because the ambulance was there.
All this congestion could have been avoided had the Hodges creek road stayed opened. Never in my life have I ever see a quarter or less mile of road take a year or more to construct. There's a deep hole by the water plant and a deeper hole Infront the bus shed in east end please fixed them

Idiots here simply can’t drive. It’s nearly impossible to get over 40mph on our roads and yet the morons here still can’t handle driving on this little island. God forbid any of you had to drive somewhere real.

Why does this not surprise me?
Impatient drivers that neither know nor care about the rules of the road, then mix in the scooter crowd. Marry it to an intersection at the base of the hill where nobody pays attention to the stop signs or drives the wrong way up the hill from Baughers Bay.

Same thing I was saying. How many more young men need to die or end up in the hospital? 1/2 of them not even legal.

There will be an accident on the highway just past the festival grounds, PWD dug up the road to fix pipes and filled it in BUT not all the way so there is a 4-inch drop and drivers move erratically to the other lane to avoid it, same right-out side of RiteWay. The potholes in some places are so deep if you look in them you can see China. Words can't describe the mess and incompetence of the Sea Cows Bay roads.
  • Band them!! (03/09/2025, 21:57) Like (0) Dislike (1) Reply
Band all persons from buying their license. Ban all Kia soul, scooters, Kia piccanto, and right hand drive vehicles.
