BAUGHERS BAY, Tortola, VI – Clergyman and commentator Mr Claude O. Skelton-Cline has prophesied that in the office of Premier of the Virgin Islands, a woman will rise to power in the next general elections.

The pastor gave the prophecy during the Tuesday, June 14, 2022, edition of his Honestly Speaking talk show broadcasted on ZBVI 780 AM.

“There’s a woman that is going to rise to power in the Office of the Premier in the next general election. You might say Claude Skelton-Cline, that's quite a bold statement.

“But you hear me when I tell you. You don't have to believe me, and you don't have to agree with me today. But just as sure, as I am sitting in this seat and just as sure as I am a man of God, and I know that for myself… I am sitting here, and I am saying to you that there is a woman who is going to come to power, specifically in the Office of the Premier in the next general election,” he added.

Community asked to pray prophecy into reality

Skelton-Cline called on members of the community to pray towards making the prophesy a reality so the individual can come forward.

“She will not be one of the usual suspects… Most of us, when she comes, will probably ask where she come from…. But your spirit will know that when she comes, your spirit will affirm, yes,” he added.

The man of the cloth added that he is not the only person foreseeing the prophecy, “My prophet friend, he mentioned a woman rising to power and he said he wasn't sure about whether or not she was rising to power in the judiciary… he said he didn't even know if she would be Premier,” he added.

Woman will take VI into new era

While the name of the alleged woman was not mentioned, Skelton-Cline said prophets can only see part of the picture and due to this partial vision they can only make prophecies in part.

“So there was some word spoken around this matter and what I am saying in my own spirit now, based upon the spirit of knowledge, the spirit of discernment, and having an understanding of the times, the next Premier will not be a man, it's going to be a woman.”

He added that a woman will lead the territory as well as give birth to a new destiny and destination of the Virgin Islands.

“And a woman will be the voice and the mouthpiece and the personification of these Virgin Islands in its best and brightest form is going to be a woman,” Skelton-Cline stated.

Why I have to pray for your prophecy to come to fruition? That is your prophecy!! If this is what the Almighty God put within you then nothing else need to be done. God’s will for the BVI will be done and in order. God does not need the help of sinful mankind like us.

The thing is though, we first need to sure up the operating framework of our government, else it matters not who leads us, man or woman .... The time will yet come for you to go siddung CC.

This is as clear as day this false prophet has no knowledge of scripture. If God says it why does He need help to bring it to pass. You are no man of God. You are pure and simple a mouth piece of the devil. Your action your utterances says otherwise. Because I know scripture yes God can use you but I I am He would use a J@@k as first.

How you couldn’t predict n what would have happened to the BVI under the VIP government during your fasting . Stop using the Almighty name as a cloak . God hates sin , He is holy , He despises leaders who promote discord on people because of their color, He hates people who spews division . He hates leaders who condones greed and twisting and manipulating situations
Go with your false prophecy !!

CSC is 50% correct. Who does CSC see as the rising star with the requisite knowledge, proven experience, demonstrated technical and administrative ability, effective communication skills, people skills, effective political skill set, charisma, passion, positive community engagement, infectious leadership, etc, chops. The current situation presents an opportunity for someone, ie, an Mandela, Mia Mottley, Golda Meir, Eugenia Charles, Joseph, H. Lavity Stoutt, Noel Lloyd, Dolph Faulkner, Indira Ghandi etc, to rise and excel or falter. The bell has rung, the starting gun shot, for implementing the CoI. The focus is on Premier, the supposed #1 equal among equals, but it will require a cohesive, unselfish, public interests-focused team to put the Virgin Islands (British) on a sustainable and resilient course. It will come to effective leadership and trust. Leadership is influencing people and a wide open door that swings on the hinge of trust (Ret Navy Admiral James G. Stavridis).

Leonard, mehson, now you know that you not going to find any candidate with those quals. You will have to create such a candidate at thus juncture in the lab. Like you don’t want anyone to stand for election. Lol. We need people with communication skills, common sense, integrity, understanding of the constitution, legislative procedures, trust, etc. You raising the bar too high and no one will be able to clear it. You got to see things from the ground level. It is not a criticism though. Question for voters, do you want the high bar lowered? But we cannot let the perfect be the enemy of the good.

      E. Leonard, the criteria, the bar, you set is high to meet and scale for either a man or woman. However, the BVI should not settled for the least common denominator or before none any. I will be happy half the criteria but candidates must hardworking and quick learners. It must a short learning curve. The HOA is too important an institution to dress and come to rest. E. Leonard, who, if any, you had in mine? Who you rolling with.

“ will come to effective leadership and trust. Leadership is influencing people and a wide open door that swings on the hinge of trust (Ret Navy Admiral James G. Stavridis).” The BVI leadership failed it. The leadership betrayed and deceived the BVI people. Overall, the BVI underperformed.

Among other things, the BVI underperformed in educating and training effectively to meets its labor needs. It failed to develop its infrastructure( water, sewerage, electricity, roads, telecommunications, ports). It failed to diversify its economy. It failed to effectively train the next generation of leaders, ie, political leaders. There seemed to be a dearth of qualified political aspirants. The BVI should have an embarrassment of riches in political aspirants.

@E. Leonard, Boi, you nuts ah wah. Ah wah yu smoking mehson. Lol. The BVI people was so stuck on materialism and showing off that they forget about proper governing and democracy. Consequently, there are no deep well of ready political leaders. We let what our forebears struggle for go for nought all because of greed. Our forbears are tossing restlessly in their resting places. Their accomplishments put us to shame and we should be shame.

  • Let it be known.... (15/06/2022, 15:04) Like (5) Dislike (0) Reply
This is NOT a prophecy... CSC is NOT a prophet. IF by chance a female does become premier next election then: 1. It is about time.... we are so behind on equal opportunities here and the mindset of those in power shows the same. Fahie did not appoint ONE woman to a ministerial position under his government, NOT ONE, despite them getting more votes than the male counterparts. This needs to change. Only one woman needs to be mentioned here: Mia Mottley. It is a widely believed misconception that women are too emotional for these positions. Women are less egotistical (for the most part) and more empathetic (for the most part) so will actually bring a wider understanding of benefit to the general population rather than a small pool of individuals. Women also (and again - I generalize) tend to be more organized.
    2. If a woman does become the next premier PLEASE do not give CSC any platform to say 'look, i predicted this and it came true.' It will be nothing to do with him. There are several women in this territory who have shown their passion and commitment continuously for several years when it comes to running the territory with integrity in a way that is best for the majority and not the minority. Having no background in politics we have yet to see if they will operate as they say they will, but they seem to be the best option we have. So what CSC has said is NOT prophecy, but a guess, albeit probably a likely one.... still, nothing divine about it.... just a guess.

why should I , me ,the people should pray for your prophecy to come true , if your a real man of God , (which your not ) no praying should be , because if you understand who God is and what he speak is truth, scrpt. said that the word of God is right and all his work is done in truth ,, so if he said it it will happen and the prayer we should be doing is to be humble seeking God so can truly hear his voice and healing transformation deliverance will take place , fear of God returns to these islands in Jesus Mighty Name ,, but this is what messing up this country a set of liars in suits and ties barking, scrpt said every liar is a murderer , murderering the country spiritually shedding blood saying God said and God said i never speak to are send them anywhere , this is a spiritual battle we need real true men of God to prophecy over this nation , so you need to go and repent ,,,these are serious time
