LONG BAY, Tortola, VI- Calling it a unique dining experience that introduces a fresh taste of Japan to the Caribbean paradise, Long Bay Beach Resort has said it is proud to announce the grand opening of the 1748 Sushi Bar.

Helmed by the talented Sous Chef Sherman, the 1748 Sushi Bar redefines beachfront dining with expertly crafted sushi, sashimi, and innovative maki rolls that celebrate the fusion of tradition and creativity, the resort stated in a press release today, November 8, 2024.

The resort further said each dish is made with the freshest ingredients and presented with the precision that highlights Chef Sherman's passion for Japanese cuisine.

Japanese cocktail menu

Adding to the “unique” dining experience, Head Mixologist Ashish introduces a signature cocktail menu inspired by Japanese culture. From miso-infused concoctions to yuzu-accented refreshers, these bespoke drinks are tailored to enhance the sushi bar's flavours and ambiance.

“Our cocktail menu is designed to offer guests a taste of Japan’s rich traditions with a Caribbean twist,” Ashish explains.

With serene ocean views and the sound of waves as a backdrop, the 1748 Sushi Bar, according to the resort, promises an unmatched blend of taste, elegance, and relaxation.

Reservations are now open +1 (284)345 3773.

yea how [dis]tasteful, serve up sushi to your guests at the Dan Donavan sugar plantation where our ancestors were forced to labour. at least drop "1748" and don't market a "rum distillery" as restaurant.
