6 new police vehicles for RVIPF

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) has received a boost in improving its ability to serve the public with the addition of six new police vehicles.

According to the RVIPF, on April 2, 2026, this addition to the force’s fleet will strengthen the RVIPF’s ability to serve and protect the Virgin Islands. 

“These additions form part of our continued efforts to enhance operational capacity and visibility across our communities.”

Members of the public have been urged to look out for these new police vehicles as they begin patrolling the roads, supporting policing efforts across the Virgin Islands. 

The RVIPF added that more vehicles are expected to arrive in coming months, further boosting resources available to officers.

    Now Gas increase big time, wow. Foot Patrol in the city and communities will be no longer..It's already almost non existent. Foot Patrol in twos is still a very effective traffic and crime prevention tool. It's very much needed.. Then again where are they going to park these new vehicles the station as it is don't have space...They may have to lease a piece of land from the school nearly...

    Yesterday I saw two officers sitting for hours in a barber shop with a new vehicle parked. Who was paying for this ? My tax dollars are going out the window

    THE POLICE DRIVE THOSE VEHICLES CARELESSLY! THEY WILL BE BANGED UP AND THROWN AWAY BY THE MARINE SECTION IN LESS THAN A YEAR!
