MANAGUA, Nicaragua- Six young athletes are representing the Virgin Islands (VI) at the 2025 NACAC U13-U15 Championships.

The event is taking place this weekend, July 5 to July 6, 2025, at the Olympic Stadium IND in Managua, Nicaragua. 

The VI delegation includes (U15 Boys) Bryson Walter and Caedon Fraites; (U13 Boys) D’Karai Prescott and Taylor Phipps; (U13 Girls) Roshanna Lennon and Giuliana Faulkner; and (U15 Girls) T’Keiya Smith and Tiffany Herbert. 

They are accompanied by coaches Carl Barrett, Winston Potter, Ericca Frederick and Jennifer King. 

139 athletes from 22 countries

The sporting event will see participation from 139 Under 13 and Under 15 athletes from 22 Latin American and Caribbean countries.

The BVI Athletics Association, in a Facebook post announcing the team’s participation at the event, said, “We are excited to have such a talented and dynamic group of young athletes representing the Territory, and we look forward to exceptional performances by each athlete.”

    What happen to our local pe teachers. We have so many local people teachers but this is the best we can od? this is a shame.

      Your local PE teachers doesn't do they're work. One in particular does be selling fish during class time .

    @ what happen. Youre stinks But local PE teachers, just watch your face. Thats why the kids dont well when they leave here because of the local attitude.
