ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Five coaches have received their CONCACAF C License certifications, marking a significant advancement in the territory’s efforts to enhance youth football development.

BVIFA Technical Director Paul Decle emphasised to the coaches that, “Your role now is to develop the future of football. The mandate from the BVIFA to the new C License coaches is to put in the work and develop the youth—both on and off the field.”

Improving coaching standards

The CONCACAF C License Course aims to improve coaching standards across the region by emphasising player development, session planning, and youth-centered instruction. Completing the programme enables coaches to engage more extensively in national grassroots and youth football initiatives.

The certificates were presented to the coaches during a brief ceremony on Saturday, November 22, 2025.

The newly licensed coaches are expected to support BVIFA training initiatives, youth academies, and upcoming development programmes scheduled for the 2024–2025 calendar.
