ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Shallow pockets of moisture embedded within a moderate to fresh breeze will continue to be pushed over the islands today, February 12, 2021, and tonight, maintaining a moderate chance for showers over the next 24 hours, the Department of Disaster Management (DDM) is reporting.

It said weather today will be partly cloudy with brief periods of increased cloudiness and a 40 percent or moderate chance of showers.

Winds: East at 17 to 30 km\h or 10 to 18 mph, with possible gusts up to 48 km\h or 30 mph.

Seas: 1.5 to 2.4 meters or 5 to 8 feet. A small craft advisory is in effect for the north and eastern coastlines.

Sunset today is at  6:18 pm.
