40 active COVID-19 in VI; Tortola leads with 37 cases
The other cases are 2 on Anegada and 1 on Virgin Gorda based on testing done on December, 8 and 9 and reported today, December 10, 2021.
To date, there have been 2,842 cases of COVID-19 recorded in the VI with 2,763 persons having recovered from the virus.
18 of the current cases are local cases with 12 found in contacts of cases along with 7 through travel screening, 2 on entry screening day 0, and 1 case found in a crew.
16,857 persons have been fully vaccinated with just 1,492 persons having had just one dose of the vaccine.
