39 active COVID-19 cases reported in VI

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- According to the Territory’s Epidemiological Summary for testing done on October 4, 2021 and reported on October 5, 2021, there are 39 active COVID-19 cases in the Virgin Islands.

28 of those cases are on Virgin Gorda, 9 on Tortola and 2 on Jost van Dyke, which previously had no cases.

Only one person is hospitalised, the Government disclosed today, October 6, 2021.

31 of the positive cases in the Virgin Islands are contacts of cases and there is 1 local case.

The protocols and suppression measures set by the Government of the Virgin Islands have served the territory well, despite at least two outbreaks.

    I guess once the Pfizer and modena arrive, cases will rise again and people will start dying...the narrative is predictable. I guess covid following the news.

    Virgin Gorda still have too much cases for such a small place.

    Seems like it stuck on that number to maintain the curfew. And still these blind mice's can't see the plot.
