PARAQUITA BAY, Tortola, VI- Three contestants have been revealed for the Miss Universe British Virgin Islands Pageant slated for August 20, 2023.

The Reveal was held at Eileene L. Parsons Auditorium, H. Lavity Stoutt Community College in Paraquita Bay this evening, Sunday, July 30, 2023, under the theme: ‘Up close and personal.

The contestants are Deyounce E.  Lowenfield, Liliana  O. Rhymer and former Miss Teen BVI Ashellica A. L. S. S. Fahie.

Last year there was a coronation for Miss Universe BVI; however, the pageant committee has reverted to a pageant.

The reigning queen is Lia R. Claxton.

    Foolishness. Isn't there another pageant taking place? If you must have one, wouldn't it be better to merge the 2? Easier said than done I guess. This is one weird little place.

    You mean they couldn’t wait until after the Miss BVI Pageant to reveal this set of contestants SMH.

    Will they be banning the media, or restrict them as they did for the festival shows. The Media needs some balls, pride and self esteem and with draw themselves and don't allow them wicked people to use them when they feel like for their benefit when they want their show to get big up, Let them pay up before they get big up.. Media needs to learn and wise up..

    Come on tola. We have some very beautiful women in the territory. Unfortunately all are expats. Use them if you want to stand a chance.

      are you dumb? 2 out of 3 family is from the Virgin Islands. If more locals wanted to compete, they would register for the pageant. The committee can’t force women to participate in this.

        @@action, read, read ???? ???? And comprehend local person. Would you allow a down island as you refer to us to represent you. How the hell can my opinion discourage other local tolans from coming forward. Coming to do what. This is definitely the best that you can find anywhere in the territory. If you want to see grace, beauty and talent hold an expect beauty contest, match it beside tola beauty contest and see the vast difference. You all might hate me and that is ok like your slowman premier I don't read the blogs. And i am not the most hated person in tola that title goes to slowman and CSC.
