PARAQUITA BAY, Tortola, VI- Activities for Senior Citizens’ Month continue with Family Feud: Seniors Edition on Sunday, May 24, 2026.

The Virgin Islands (VI) is observing the 37th anniversary of Senior Citizens’ Month under the theme ‘Champion Your Health’. Several activities were planned for the month, from youth engagements to a Seniors’ Luncheon in Virgin Gorda and sports day. 

The 37th-anniversary milestone highlights an ongoing commitment to honouring and uplifting seniors across the VI. 

3 Senior programs competing

Three senior groups will take part in Sunday’s activity, which promises to be an unforgettable afternoon as the teams are ready to bring the energy, laughs and wit. 

The teams are Orange Team: Carrot Bay Senior Engagement Programme (Crème of the Crops); Green Team: OASIS Seniors Programme, and Red Team: East End/Long Look Senior Engagement Programme (Rising Sun). 

Family Feud: Senior’s Edition will take place at the Eileene L. Parsons Auditorium on the H. Lavity Stoutt Community Campus (HLSCC) in Paraquita Bay from 4:00 P.M. Tickets are available for purchase at J&C Trading Ltd. at $15 for adults and $5 for children. 

Other activities

Senior Citizens’ Month continues with an Anegada Seniors’ Luncheon and Social on Monday, May 25, 2026, at Big Bamboo Restaurant from 10:00 AM, and an Open House at the Adina Donovan Home for the Elderly on May 27, 2026, from 10:00 AM.

Celebrations culminate with the Champion Your Health Parade and Wellness Fair on May 29, 2026. The route will be from the roundabout in Road Town to Noel Lloyd Positive Action Movement Park and will begin at 10:00 AM.

    Using the name "Family Feud" can result in legal action being served on you guys. I think this happened years ago with the government public service week event. Just Saying.
