ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The 2026 track and field season in the Virgin Islands (VI) will get underway on Saturday, January 17, 2026.

Athletes will be competing in the Dag Samuels Development Meet at the A.O. Shirley Ground from 2:00 PM.

"We're starting the year off fast and fierce with the opening of the 2026 Track Season in the Virgin Islands," the BVI Athletics Association (BVIAA) stated.

The BVIAA also said the afternoon will be one of fierce competition and family-friendly fun.

"Watch BVI's best track clubs compete on the blazing blue track. Ready. Set. Finish!" the BVIAA stated.
