2024 Governor’s Cup champ Ghostinyou comes up short in Labour Day Races on STT

The horse owned by Lesmore Smith of Top Priority Racing Stables was competing for a purse of $20,000 and seeking to regain Virgin Islands pride after failing to win since its Governor’s Cup triumph last year.
It was not to be; however, as Ghostinyou and jockey A. Williams never troubled the race leaders and had to settle for 4th.
Grand Tower stands tall!
The race winner was Grand Tower of No Limit Racing Stables.
Grand Tower, ridden by Mix Adorno of Puerto Rico, went to the front before the first bend and never looked back.
Emmett and Ice Road, who were always in hot pursuit, finished 2nd and 3rd, respectively.
Ghostinyou was the only Tortola horse that competed in the Labour Day Races, which saw Floki’s Flight defeat Pure Speight in the feature clash of the 8-race card.

When you run into Mr Policy Traveler watch them in the eyes and ask them what benefits will this Territory obtain from all of those trips overseas
