2022 Education ‘Innovation week’ spotlights S.T.E.A.M in VI schools
Ongoing from November 7–11, 2022, under the theme “Virgin Islands Education: Moving Full S.T.E.A.M Ahead”, this year’s events are also featuring daily challenges for school participating.
Innovation Week will culminate with an exhibition on Friday, November 11, 2022.
S.T.E.A.M represents Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths.
Education Minister Hon Sharie B. de Castro (AL), via a facebook post, also invited members of the public to visit the exhibition on Friday, November 11, 2022, at the Save the Seed Energy Centre between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m

“Come out on Friday, 11th November 2022 to the Innovation S.T.E.A.M. Expo! Students from across all public and private schools in the territory from Grades 3-8 have been engaging with Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics all week! Schools have also participated in innovative challenges throughout the week.”
The Minister added, “They are excited to showcase their creativity, problem solving, critical thinking and collaboration skills! Come see what all the excitement is about as we continue to move Virgin Islands Education: Full S.T.E.A.M. Ahead!”
