2 VI pilots awarded ‘Captain’ titles by American Airlines

Davies and Varlack Jr, both American Airlines pilots, were recently awarded Airbus A320 Captain and Boeing 737 Captain respectively.
This was shared to Facebook on April 10, 2022, by Captain Kennard De Castro who, along with Davies and Varlack, are three pilots from the [British] Virgin Islands flying for American Airlines.
The accomplishment has been hailed by Virgin Islanders, including Deputy Premier and Minister for Education, Culture, Youth Affairs, Fisheries and Agriculture, Dr the Hon Natalio D. Wheatley (R7).
