2 slapped with firearm & ammo charges
Two charged
Jeremy Nibbs, 37, of Pockwood Pond, and Kyle Baronville, 36, of Belle Vue, have both been charged with keeping a firearm without a license and unlawful possession of explosives.
Nibbs has been granted bail in the amount of $25,000 and is scheduled to appear before the Magistrate’s Court on November 4, 2025, while Baronville remains in custody pending his court appearance.
Ongoing enforcement efforts
These charges are part of ongoing enforcement efforts aimed at reducing gun-related crime and removing illegal weapons from circulation.
Acting Commissioner of Police Jacqueline E. Vanterpool commended the officers involved, stating that the successful recovery of firearms and explosives reflects the Force’s continued commitment to safeguarding the territory.

“Our officers continue to work diligently to ensure the safety of every community. The recovery of firearms and explosives in recent days reflects the vigilance and professionalism of our ranks. We remain steadfast in our mission to reduce violent crime and prevent the loss of life,” Vanterpool stated in a press release on November 2, 2025.
The RVIPF calls on the public to share any information regarding illegal weapons or suspicious activities by contacting the RVIPF Intelligence Unit.
