2 new COVID-19 deaths; 181 active cases in VI

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- There have been two new COVID-19 deaths in the [British] Virgin Islands (VI), bringing the total count to 51, according to the Territory's Epidemiological Summary today, January 31, 2022.

There were previously 49 total COVID-19 related deaths when the last update was given on January 28, 2022.

12 persons are currently hospitalised at Dr D. Orlando Smith Hospital with COVID-19, one more than the previous update.

181 active cases

Active cases; however, continue to reduce.

There are 181 active cases as compared to January 28, 2022, when there were 272.

Latest figures are the result of testing done on January 30, 2022, and reported on January 31, 2022.

    We know it's COVID 19 but when will the people understand that scientist said they put the Corona virus in the vaccine to fight off the virus. People wake up if you get the vaccine you get the virus so why get it. That's why the Bible said many will be deceived because you all are the ones putting the virus in you. Almost 60 percent of the world is fully vaccinated and this thing is still spreading like wide fire. I know this is not about a pandemic but a souldemic

      You are really this ignorant? Firstly that is how every single vaccine works! You get a small controllable dose of the actual virus so your body land to fight off a full blown case of the virus, safely.

      Yes the virus is still spreading but now that 60% of us are vaccinated, people are not dying in crazy waves anymore; hospitals aren't overrun; nurses and doctors aren't over worked anymore; ventilator machines are freed up.

      This is such very simple common sense.

      The vaccine lessens the impact of the virus and lessens your chance of dying from respiratory failure or other complications.

This vaccine isn't a vaccine it's a mRNA biotech weapon so go look up mRNA and see what Vaccine pops up and than go start your research.       It has been proven that vaccinated persons are indeed spreading covid to the unvaccinated. The risk of contracting covid after being fully vaccinated are still high so mask and social distancing are still required. The CDC clearly states that you are not 100% protected from the virus even if you are fully vaccinated. Fauci even stated that regular immunity is still stronger than the vaccine so like why take that poison? I believe in science only when it is meant for the greater good and not rushed off. A vaccine takes more than 10years to properly develop as its an ongoing experiment to perfection. I'm not vaccinated and never will be. Those rushing for the poison are lab rats and test dummies fooled off to scientist to further carryout their studies. Only this times the test subject are humans and not animals. The vaccinated cant deal with the fact that they made a very deadly mistake.

    I like to read comments on the blogs. Sometimes you get more information and sometimes you get a laugh. What I dont like is when people write opinions that are NOT based on facts. The simple thing to do is research.Just simply type in how vaccines work and READ AND COMPREHEND! Then there are people who like the posts simply because they are just as ignorant. Education on vaccines have been given to us so many times yet people will still come on here spewing rubbish. You CANNOT get covid 19 from the vaccines! If that was the case all the diseases that vaccines have protected us from will still be around. I can go on and on but I know some of you cant read long articles.
