2 injured in shooting @ festival village in Carrot Bay

CARROT BAY, Tortola, VI- Two people have been injured after a gunman opened fire at the festival village in Carrot Bay around 5:45 PM today, Thursday, August 6, 2026.
One of the persons injured was shot multiple times and was rushed to Dr D. Orlando Smith Hospital in critical condition.
According to reports reaching our News Centre, the man was riddled with bullets from a high-powered weapon. The bullets, according to persons on the scene, almost severed his leg.
A woman was reportedly grazed in the neck by a stray bullet.

I had just purchased a Patti and a drink when I heard the gunshots.
Needless to say! I panicked not knowing where to seek shelter.
Something needs to be done. Carrot Bay of all places! Peaceful and quiet.

The funny part is the news ain disclose who got shot but the young people then done got that information and sharing like wild fire
Plenty young people who attends most of these event's fully know who got gun and in some cases who did shootings but they will never share that info with the authorities but they quick to jump on social fighting up old people over clothing attires when them know they would never dress like a prostitute to them child graduation... actually that done happening lool
