SLANEY, Tortola, VI- Two persons on a motor scooter were injured after they became involved in an accident at Slaney today, December 20, 2022.

It is unclear what resulted in the accident; however, the motorcycle ended up on the side of the road.

From all indications, it appeared to be a lone-motor scooter accident.

The incident reportedly took place after 3:00pm.

Lone-vehicle accident @ Beef Island

Meanwhile, there was a lone-vehicle accident at the Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport on Beef Islands this afternoon.

According to reports reaching our news centre, it was around 4:00 pm that a small SUV ended up in a ghut.

No one was reportedly injured.

    Now I see a lot of scooters with two young people on them whizzing by and weaving in and out of cars. I think to myself, if they hit the pavement or a vehicle, they will have no skin left to hold their bodies' vital organs in.
