Unfortunately neither the RVIPF, our political Leaders and the people of the that care for our safety proved able to solves this ongoing problem, so far, but it an be drastically reduce,
if we fight for the good of each other wellbeing, until the talk without positive actions is bogus rambling.
In spite of the two riders that were injured, but because of God 's good mercy no one has died, so far, from the impacted.
Our RVIPF should not continue following the pattern of cops-chasing stubborn-heads riders. This practice can caused unforseen deaths unwanted.
Other methods should be used, in the list below will show.
1.Small drone to track the unruly riders whereabouts
2. An increase in the number of Traffic Cops both day and nights, especially in our Capital City.
3. Instead of being only water ghuts cleaners and road-side bush cutters more trade-learning schools should become available to, especially, youths.
4. Make it mandatory that all motor cycle and scooter riders wear helmets and others life protection gears.
5. Persons that have violated lawful practice and fleeing from being investigated, whether in cars, trucks, motorcycles and scooters license should be revoked for a specific time in according to the crimes, if found proven guilty in the Court Of our legal laws, RVIPF officers not excluded.
Sick-heads scooter and motorcycle riders, behavior yourselves lawfully.
Maybe you were being sarcastic or maybe you are just dumb ,I don’t know which.
If they were not trying to get away from the police in the first place they would not have been chased and crashed their dumb a**.
You can expect a criminal in most instances to act accordingly. Like running when it simple stop and provide what you are being asked.
They didn't stop because they are illegally on the road. Not even a license and sometimes the bike is stolen.
It takes a community to act in favour of solving crime together.
Dmv would know and the police should liase with them about the people who acquired licenses and stop all bikes that are not insured and licensed nor have a licensed rider on it. It's the same concept as another registered vehicle or driver. It can't be that hard to pick up unregistered bikes.
Being prejudice to a group of people simply isn't fair. As riders are much like another. The grown folks riding and some of the young people on bike has a car of their own and a bike to make life easier. However accidents happen with all types of transportation. It's just less situation recorded when a enclosed vehicle is in the wrong. And trust me I am a victim of a few. It's just hard to get up after being knocked down and they drive off. While being in shock and trying to start the bike again remembering the plate or make of the vehicle is sometimes a blur but we should still call the police.
It is a small territory and bikers should be more welcomed.
The illegal riders should be removed from the roads I agree. As the legal bike a new or older rider transportation is stolen its ridden by other bikers and they become unregistered bikes. Most scooters were legal at some point. The stolen bikes are in most cases not recovered. As a result more stolen bikes are on the road and more unlicensed persons. Some bikes are stolen then sold. And police need to do more instead of watching them pass by. The officers should take the bike and insisted they get a license or register the bike. Also call those who made reports as you cover a bike of the same make.
It going to take time for law enforcement and riders to elevate standards of bikers in the BVI.
Officers and community members to help pin point illegal scooters and enforce the right doings for all parties involved.
A transparent list as to who is would be eligible to ride on the roads and who own bikes. It up to the rider much like other motorist to provide the documents necessary or being requested. So everyone can be held accountable and police would have all right to investigate all that is out of place.
