16 awarded @ 2025 Financial Services Awards
BVI Finance honoured the trailblazers, innovators, and dedicated professionals who continue to elevate the Virgin Islands (VI) on the global stage.
Outstanding performers across the financial services landscape were in the spotlight, from compliance and law to insurance, fintech, and corporate services.
“This year’s winners demonstrated unparalleled expertise, innovation, and commitment to the standards that distinguish the BVI on the world stage,” BVI Finance said in a social media post following the awards.
2025 Awardees
The winners of the 2025 Financial Services Awards were as follows:
- Accounting Firm of the Year: BDO
- Association of the Year: Association of Compliance Officers
- Practitioners Auditor of the Year: Deloitte
- Bank of the Year: Republic Bank
- Best Corporate Social Responsibility: TMF
- Compliance Officer of the Year: Shane Rhymer (Harneys Fiduciary)
- Corporate Services Provider of the Year: Ogier
- FinTech Service Firm of the Year: DLT Solutions
- Insolvency Practice of the Year: TENEO
- Insurance Services Provider: Nagico Insurances
- Investment Firm of the Year: PMI
- Law Firm of the Year: Ogier
- Lawyer of the Year: Anton Goldstein (Conyers)
- Regulatory Body/Competent Authority of the Year: BVI Financial Investigation Agency
- Rising Star Award: Aliki Skelton-Lettsome (TBVI Legal-Services)
- Tech-Savvy/Innovative Firm of the Year: Ogier
In congratulating the winners, BVI Finance said their contributions “continue to drive excellence and shape the future of BVI financial services”.
Industry’s revenue growth speaks volumes- Premier
Premier and Minister of Finance Dr the Hon Natalio D. Wheatley (R7) told the people and firms present that they continue to elevate the standards of the VI.
“Your work strengthens the foundation of our economy and reinforces the Virgin Islands' reputation as a trusted, forward-thinking global financial centre.”
Premier Wheatley added that the VI’s continued revenue growth in the financial services industry over the last few years “speaks volumes”.
“It reflects the resilience of the Virgin Islands, the creativity of our practitioners, and the integrity with which you carry out your responsibilities—whether here at home or across the VI's far-reaching global network. The success of the Virgin Islands travels well beyond our shores, carried by the professionalism and dedication of each of you.”
The 2025 honouress, he said, exemplifies what makes the Virgin Islands exceptional and is a reminder that the VI is not simply keeping pace but is leading.
“With vision, discipline, and collaboration, we continue to push boundaries and shape the future of global financial services,” Premier Wheatley said.
