Kelvin Foy: can direct us to credible medical and or scientific evidence to support your assertions? You’re entitled to an opinion but not your own facts. Bush tea, ginger, chicken soup can all make you feel better but it’s guaranteed that no home remedy will bring those in the hospital back to health, and neither will they prevent infection/transmission.

Happy I took my vaccine. Statistics from around the world shows that 99% of Covid hospitalization patients are unvaccinated. The death count comes from those unvaccinated hospitalization. Of which the British Virgin Islands is no exception. So let people believe these figures or not. The writing is on the wall. This is my summary.

When you have a Premier who says “ it’s a personal choice “ and a member of the house of assembly crying on camera as the jab comes near what do you expect?

It doesn’t hurt , you don’t feel it. Side effects are mostly none and at worst slight. It could save your life.

      Get vaccinated.

So, I will be honest....I was one of those who didn't want to take the vaccine because of what I heard people saying. But, I sat and did some serious thinking and well, let's say common sense kicked in and I went for my 1st shot last month . I popped 2 paracatemol and I was good to go....only slight tenderness on my arm for a few days, that's about it.

the problem with these numbers is that they are missing the nunbers on Tortola, they mass tested on Jost(again) and mass tested on VG so there nubers are up and even tested on Anegada but on Tortola where the outbreak IS they stopped testing and told peole to stay home, but they don't do it and the people I know that are sick and staying home to self isolate have not been tested so are not in the numbers but that adds 4 in one house and how many more???

We can thank all the YouTube Doctors and all who are against the vaccine for the deaths. Unless we can get a handle on COVID-19 we are going to lose a lot of our friends and family. People, what’s wrong with you? Most medication we take has side effects. The unvaccinated ones are the ones begging for the place to open up because they think this thing is a joke, when it starts taking out your family you will understand how stupid you are for not taking the vaccine.

@ guest … from your blogs I can tell that you don’t believe in God; I pray when you get in your calamity you don’t go calling on Him.. His Word in Psalms says that the fool in his heart says there’s no God and Proverbs says that the fear of God is the Beginning of wisdom. What a wonderful God and Father He is in that here you and others are saying whatever about Him, and “yet” in His Abundant Love and Mercy He lets you live.. that’s called “Unmerited Love”.. Always Best to be Wise..

The Lord helped us by giving man knowledge and wisdom to provide a vaccine. He also gave us free will to choose.

It’s your right to believe that Jesus will save your God given soul but it is not right to say, and tell others, “Jesus alone can help us at this time”, when there is very effective vaccine that will help combat the virus once it enters the respiratory tract. A vaccine that is the difference between health and disease and, in some cases, life and death. “The Lord Helps Those Who Help Themselves.” Please HELP YOURSELF and get vaccinated with both doses ASAP!

Thankfully most old people only read news and don’t do independent research, then force their views on their kids. If you want take a experimental vaccine do it and keep it between you and your circle, easy on the blogs now because once someone mind is made up nothing could change it!
    • @ Old Age (15/07/2021, 11:19) Like (4) Dislike (6) Reply
It is not an “experimental” vaccine. (MRNA technology has been in research for 10 years)
Dr. Francis Collins, Director of the NIH (an evangelical Christian who also believes in science) says the only corners that were cut in the emergency development of these vaccines was “Red Tape”. Scientist’s all over the world were dropping other research to work on this because it was/is a Global Health Emergency! As we are only getting a taste of here in the BVI, because people so strongly rejected vaccination.

My close family can not be vaccinated due to medical issues - they are in the minority. I got vaccinated to protect them. Everyone that "could" but won't get vaccinated, puts my family at risk and I cuss all your selfish a**es. Fasting, praying and all the blood of Jesus ain't going to make this go away. It's 2021 people - do your research, get vaccinated, save lives.

Yes, we are believers in God. God made man. Man are scientists and doctors. God made them to protect us and we must believe that our Lord made them to help us fight disease. It is written and it must me adhered to. Not all scientists believe in the Big Bang and not all doctors do either. They adhere to science as it relates to cures. Think about it seriously. Our God created good doctors and scientists to help us. If you get sick, seek expert and proven help to get better. We are in a crisis, seek God as he is the one asking you to trust in his creations. Do not let misinterpreted online new sway you. Protect yourself. Protect your children. Protect you family. Just get the jab. It is what our Lord and heavenly father created us to do. Please do not be mislead by all the media. All of the diseases of the past have avoided many deaths by using modern medicine. Please be smart and do not be a cause of your own death and those who love you. It is so hard to understand with all the hype but really this is serious and you must do the right thing or we will not be able to handle to number of sickness and deaths.
