But they have to be sent back, you give them a break, the flood gates is going to open. America is sending them back to Haiti by the plane loads everyday. They attacked two Ice Agents that was escorting them beck to Haiti after the plane landed in Haiti. Border Patrol in the BVI better step up their game. They can’t get into America, where’s the next place they can go, the BVI and other Caribbean Islands.

What about the Brazilian them? You are so quick to tell them to send the Haitian and never mentioned anything about the Brazilian.

Both the Haitians and Brazilian should go back. Virgin Islanders are compassionate people but look at what that got us. Now every nationality wants to run for election even those who have been living here for less than ten years. They are setting up themselves on their home country but they still want to take over the VÌ. Though they left their country out of frustration.

We don’t know who these people are. They could be killers, running from the law, rapist, robbers, child molesters we don’t know. I agree, send them back.

The US is not sending loads of migrants back to Haiti ... Just a few to show the media . The rest are being dispersed all over the country ... No vetting. No covid test . No vaccine .

Someone within the HATIAN COMMUNITY HERE IN THE BVI IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE INFLUX OF HATIANS LANDING ON OUR SHORES LATELY. ASK YOURSELVES, THESE ARE POOR PEOPLE, WHERE ARE THEY GETTING THE MONEY FROM TO PAY SOMEONE AND A BOAT TO SMUGGLE THEM INTO THE BVI. IMMIGRATION, START INVESTIGATING YOUR BACKYARD BEFORE THIS GETS OUT OF CONTROL. WE HAVE ENOUGH PROBLEMS GOING ON IN THE BVI. WE CANNOT AFFORD TO TAKE ON ANYMORE PROBLEMS.

You can’t help everyone. So we should just let them in? Where are they going to live? Where are they going to be employed? The BVI cannot continue to be letting illegals into the Country. We can help them by picking up donations of food and clothes to send to Haiti but they have to go back.

Bruh just look at Dominica and the French Islands. They felt sorry for them and let them in their country and now they took over the whole islands.

I have respect for them but they take the whole 9 yards when you give them a break.

I deeply respect them and my heart goes out to them but letting them in is like letting loose a plague.
They will take over the country and many old time disease they are affected with like tuberculosis and other stuff. They country has to be weary right now.

Really sorry for the Haitians but I don't know what we can do. You send money to them and it falls in the hands of corrupt person's. You send food it's the same.

It's a real struggle to find out how to help them. But letting them in is a big NO.

Immigrants are hard workers, I’ve never met a Haitian whom left Haiti to go sit down on their asses, they are willing to work 5time harder than any locals on any island or country to provide for themselves and their family. Same goes for Mexicans, Colombians, Peruvians, Cubans etc.. If they are willing to come to your country and take a “whole 9 yard” believe me they worked hard for it and you should work hard aswell instead of leaving the white man take everything and not complain about it.

Just another view. A Haitian Self Project in Haiti to build New Towns to house the displace and those returning. The New Towns to start with Starter Homes. The design will be for the total house but only the Kitchen, the bath room and a living room will be built before occupation after occupation the owner could continue at his pace.
The building must be of concrete block or some other durable construction material. The resources to do this could come from the Grant Moneys that went to the Haitian cause after the many disasters.
Haitian has the skill and the man power to do this, what they would need is the land to be identified and a new model for development. A model that would help and not exploit. By doing the self help the persons will develop equity and improve their skills.

Oh yes. When ,I came into the world I came with my birthright snf my ancestors through much pain suffering hardworking and sacrificing made certain that I was met with generational wealth so that I won't have to be knocking about from pillar to post .. I would be a jack donkey to not do the same for my descendants by allowing those that are proven ungrateful and unappreciative to deprive me and mine of a future worth living.

It's really unfortunate that Haiti is in a crisis and Haiti need help, but no one is willing to help them after the fact that it was American and other big countries that extorted them for their freedom and caused the country to be in such a state. Haiti was once the richest country in the world. They finished paying for their freedom just in 2011. They were the first free country in the Caribbean and thus paved the way to end slavery in the Caribbean. Some of the comments are so heartless. Help them instead of judging them. They're clearly looking to escape the humanitarian crisis happening in Haiti right now.
