THE SETTLEMENT, Anegada, VI- The Anegada Lobster Association has announced that lobsters will take center stage once again at the 10th Anegada Lobster Festival set to take place in Anegada from November 25 to 27, 2022.

With organisers promising the 2022 festival to be the biggest celebration ever, Festival mascot, 'Lilly the Lob Star,' is promising a feast.

“Our brothers and sisters will be the dish of choice at 10 different restaurants around Anegada. We are going to join in the reveling and fun as the Lobster Crawl and the Butter Sauce Tramp returns,” President of the Association, Lilly the Lob Star stated.

Fest only opened to matured lobsters

A release from the BVI Tourist Board and Film Commission has indicated that after a three-month hiatus, the lobster fest is only open to mature lobsters, but patrons of all ages are welcome to join in the excitement.

Visitors can enjoy lobsters prepared in 10 different ways at 10 restaurants around Anegada.

It added that they are more places to explore and more things to do with a promise that a guide to the Anegada Lobster Festival will be digitalised in the Anegada Lobster Festival “Flapbook”.

Lobster Fest attracts hundreds of people to Anegada every year.

This is the best weekend to avoid Anegada - go any other time. The rude loud pushy and obnoxious people from Tortola descend for the weekend and ruin the feel of the island.

When is the great lobster and conch conservation event? What is the sustainability of current stock and what is being done to improve it?

from other islands to Anegada is detrimental to this festival. Ferry/fly the lobster lovers to Anegada where they can spend money on local taxis, rental vehicles, rental electric & motor bikes, etc. Support and add to the out islands economy don't subtract from it.

Did you know that the room& rentals are all sold out even before the lobster fest ends... people rebook on the spot for the next year.... so trust me the economy of anegada is well supported.... 10 years strong.

Lobsters are scavengers of the sea and should not be eaten. Read Leviticus Chapter 11. Mankind's appetite will be our downfall in the last days.
