ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The [British] Virgin Islands’ first baby of the year 2021 entered the world at Dr D. Orlando Smith Hospital at 11:08 pm on January 1 to Ms Marcia Jennings.

According to the BVI Health Services Authority (BVIHSA), the ‘New Year's Princess’ weighed 7 pounds and 2 ounces.

Meanwhile, two babies were born on Christmas Day, making the ultimate gifts to their proud parents.

The first Christmas Day baby, a boy, was born at 10:45 am to Ms Althea Davis-Prince.

The bundle of joy weighed 6 pounds and 7ounces.

Minister for Health and Social Development, Honourable Carvin Malone (AL) showed up with a gift basket for the proud mother and newborn.

The second Christmas Day baby was born at 8:18 pm to Ms Densheka Ryan-Cato.

The baby girl weighed 6 pounds and 9 ounces.

    Babies being born December and January should have a nickname like quarantine or Kuarantine cause most of them woman get catch due to “Lockdown “ hahaha seriously babies born around this time are truly bless.
