All day, cars are racing past me, and I cannot even see where they went so fast. These drivers are very dangerous on our small roads, and they leave no room for error. Flying around curves into oncoming traffic, then they have to pull back and get back in their original lane. This goes on every day. At the college, instead of going 20 MPH, they use this as a speed passing lane. Many years ago, I remember when a college student was killed, because a useless driver hit her and killed her on the spot. It still bothers me when I pass there and see them ignoring the speed signs. The police need to be posted there and start seriously giving speeding tickets ASAP! Save our students, Save our souls!

First of all I am not commenting about this accident and would NEVER wish anyone injury, regardless of the circumstances. On Saturday a big 5 yd truck squeezed us out and overtook us literally just above Billy's Store, just pass the garbage dump, just to get a spot ahead. He squeezed us out, only to be going to Nanny Cay. SMDH. What was that for, I do not know. When we tried to get back in traffic, he blew hard on us. If he had ran us over, some persons would swear we were in the wrong. Some of these young truck drivers drive like they are on crack.

I've said it before and I will say it again. "A well rested, sober person, paying due care and attention, whilst obeying the speed-limit could not have managed that."

      Bang!

Wtf you think would’ve happened in your scenario? The Xl7 hit SOL in the front. The bigger boss won. Now if it had impacted and caught fire? Given the condition of the roads and with the morons (like the Suzuki driver) would’ve paid the price cause ain’t no emergency services getting there fast enough.

      Take some Dica now

PPL know and can see the road being fixed, everybody have somewhere to go but nobody wants to WAITTTT, this happened to me this morning on that bit of road at Havers, im already in the one way lane, he sees me well in advance and here comes this truck boasting thru, still made it his business to proceed head on to me, he refused to wait to let us through and we had to end up trying to squeeze past each other. the attitude sometimes of us is ridiculous, I wanted him to touch my vehicle this morning!!!

I think unless you were there and saw what took place, shut your mouths. None of you making any real sense and someone how lack empathy falling to realize it could happen to anyone. Is the news article stating a fact or is imaginary journalism!? You people are too gullible! Especially when the narrative is negative! You are operating at the lowest frequencies available to a humanoid.

1 - why that jeep had to go through " all ah dat " damage ? , I don't recall ever hearing or reading of or about anybody crashing into a backhoe , which means these jokers .are very smart ( although ) ignorance gets the the better of their egos / and with or without alcohol and with or without other drugs in their system / sooner or later the inevitable will happen ( sadly ) innocent can get hurt or even killed / it's becoming very dangerous the way some people drive on our lovely roads these days • REMEMBER TO ALWAYS DOUBLE OR EVEN TRIPPLE CHECK BEFORE YOU ATTEMPT TO OVERTAKE ANY VEHICLE . DONT DO LIKE THOSE THRILLSEEKERS ON SCOOTERS DOES

Police and ambulance services arrived later at the end of the scene, but members of the public pulled him out of the car. I hope he is doing well.

Here, many truck drivers drive like they own the road, almost like an airplane on a runway. They often do not respect smaller vehicles because they are driving large trucks and do not seem to care about others on the road. Even when someone tries to overtake, the truck drivers speed up and do not leave enough space to move safely.

That is how this accident happened. Regardless of who was at fault, people should still think about the person who got injured instead of treating it like something common
