1 injured in boat accident @ West End

WEST END, Tortola, VI- A man sustained injuries following a boat accident at West End, Tortola, this evening, Wednesday, October 22, 2025.

Details are still sketchy; however, there are unconfirmed reports three persons were in the vessel; however, two of the persons reportedly left the scene.

The circumstances surrounding the accident are yet unclear to our News Centre.

The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) has confirmed reports of the accident and injury.

"Police can confirm a boat accident occurred in the West End area a short while ago. One male sustained injuries. Officers are currently on the scene. More details will be provided as they become available," the RVIPF stated at 7:48 PM.

More information will be provided as it becomes available.
