Three blocks of marijuana seized in Greenland

The RVIPF disclosed that a search warrant executed at a Greenland residence on December 11, 2012 resulted in the seizure of three blocks of marijuana.
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) has disclosed that a search warrant executed on December 11, 2012 at a Greenland residence resulted in the seizure of three blocks of marijuana.

In a press release sent out stated that during the early morning search of the premises, the RVIPF found a black garbage bag hidden on the outside of an apartment building. Within the bag were the blocks totaling 57 pounds in weight.

A 40-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of possession of the marijuana with intent to supply. He has since been released from custody without charge pending further inquiries.
