Police charge three on immigration offences

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- A joint operation between Royal Virgin Islands Police Force, HM Customs and Immigration Department has led to the arrest of three persons all charged with immigration offences.

On Saturday morning (July 14), officers conducted on operation in Virgin Gorda which led them to a residence in The Valley, Virgin Gorda where they arrested Jose Ramon Delar Rosa, 51 years and Maria Samuel, 34, both of The Valley and Eduard Beltran, 38, a boat captain of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

Yesterday (Sunday), Beltran was charged with Entering the Territory Illegally and Delar Rosa and Samuel were both charged with Harbouring a Person.

They are to all appear before the Magistrate’s Court.
