ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Despite an extra week of “rest” after a no show against the ESHS Rams, the Braves still had no answer to the Reds as they suffered a 16-2 defeat in the latest round of action in the BVI Softball Association Fastpitch league on Saturday June 9, 2012.

The day’s last game turned out to be another forfeiture when the Blue Wings failed to field a team against the East Invaders. The previous week the Blue Wings had kept the smallish crowd and officials waiting for what seemed an eternity before they showed up for the game against the Reds.

Although it remains a mystery as to why they were given so much extra time to field a team, thankfully the game itself lasted less time than the wait as the Reds rushed to a 9-2 victory.
